Join us for an evening with the Auner Quartett, which will present a unique concert program that explores the influence of rituals on classical music compositions. From ancient religious ceremonies to contemporary social gatherings, rituals have left a lasting mark on human culture. This concert will feature arrangements by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Konstantia Gourzi, Johanna Doderer, and Joseph Haydn, each of them promising a truly exceptional experience.
The quartet, consisting of Barbara de Menezes Galante Auner, Mialtin Zhezha, Maximilian Bratt and Konstantin Zelenin, is known for its exceptional performances and has received numerous accolades. The musicians focus on works that were either written by Viennese composers or that were created during the artists' time in Vienna. The quartet is committed to sharing the beauty of chamber music and engaging with diverse communities through workshops and outreach events, all while maintaining a deep connection to the Viennese musical tradition.
The event is followed by an Austrian wine reception.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Barbara de Menezes Galante Auner was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, as well as the University of Music in Vienna. Barbara Galante held the position of concertmaster at the Philharmonie Salzburg and is a member of the Ossiach Orchestra Academy at the invitation of the Vienna Philharmonic. Together with violinist Daniel Auner, she founded the Duo Mozartiano in 2011, as well as the Auner Quartett in 2013 where she also plays the violin. Their performances have led to them performing for audiences both nationally and internationally. Barbara Galante is currently teaching at the Friedrich Gulda School of Music in Vienna since 2021.
Mialtin Zhezha is an accomplished violinist and violist, who serves as concertmaster of the Mozart Orchestra of New York, New York Classical Symphony Orchestra, and Radio City Music hall Orchestra as well as Viola principal of Metamorphoses Orchestra, guest Principal violist and violinist with The Orchestra of St Lukes, substitute violinist with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He serves as a Principal Second Violin of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra as well as a member of the Glimmerglass Festival Orchestra. As a chamber musician, Mr Zhezha performs as the founding member of the RSO String quartet as well as a core member as violinist and violist of the Highline String Quartet.
Konstantin Zelenin completed his master's degree at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna with distinction in 2015. As its cello player, he is a founding member of the Auner Quartet and has performed as part of various ensembles worldwide. Konstanton Zelenin has been involved in several CD recordings and as a member of different ensembles received music prizes. Konstantin Zelenin currently teaches at the Friedrich Gulda School of Music in Vienna and at the Franz Schubert Conservatory.
Maximilian Bratt was born in Stockholm, Sweden and completed his studies in London and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with distinction. As part of various ensembles and as a soloist, his career has led him to perform on stages worldwide. Maximilian Bratt currently lives in Vienna and is mainly active as a chamber musician. He has played with Pandolfis Consort since 2010 and in 2017 became a founding member of the Lerchenfeld Quartet.
