The ACF Washington was delighted to present a concert by the young Austrian pianist Mitra Kotte, who performed at the ACF Washington on November 28. Her program was a potpourri of classical and romantic pieces as well as contemporary compositions.

ABOUT MITRA KOTTE
The young Austrian pianist Mitra Kotte made her solo-debut at the Musikverein in Vienna and the Liszt Festival Raiding in the season 2015/16. She performs as a solo as well as a chamber musician in Europe and Asia and played among others for the International Chopin Society, the Beethoven Society Vienna, the Cziffra-Foundation, at the Dublin National Concert Hall and the Wiener Konzerthaus.
Mitra has won numerous prizes at different national and international competitions in the categories piano solo and chamber music.
She is a postgraduate student of piano at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna and recently completed an exchange study at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul. Mitra participated in numerous master classes with musicians such as Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Oleg Maisenberg, Bernd Goetzke, Elisso Virsaladze, Jura Margulis, Robert Levin, Ya-Fei- Chuang, Paul Badura-Skoda, Jacques Rouvier, Matti Raekallio and Dominique Merlet.
