The ACF DC and the Embassy of Austria welcome the Austrian Member of Parliament, journalist and author Dr. Helmut Brandstätter for a lecture | book talk followed by a Q&A. Mr. Brandstätter's talk will focus on his recent book “Letzter Weckruf für Europa” (last wake-up call for Europe) as well as on current events in Europe.

Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required to attend all events at the Embassy of Austria. Attendees may display proof of vaccine on a smartphone, by showing a physical copy of the vaccination card or official vaccination record, along with a photo-ID. “Full vaccination” means that either 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of an FDA or WHO authorized double-dose vaccines or that 14 days have passed since receiving the sole dose of an FDA or WHO authorized single-dose vaccines. 

Attendees who are unvaccinated due to age or with a medical condition that prevents vaccination must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test conducted no more than 72 hours prior to attending an indoor performance, or proof of a professionally administered Antigen test conducted no more than 6 hours beforehand.

Masks are required at all times for all guests regardless of vaccination status during the lecture inside the Embassy of Austria.
