The Richard Koch Quartett is a talented group of four musicians. Their sound has been called a "delight" to listen to, a sound that reminds listeners of "happier times." Richard Koch on trumpet, Michael Hornek on piano, Matthias Pichler on double bass, and Moritz Baumgärtner on drums, will bring their own compositions and their sound to the stage of the Embassy of Austria.

If not enjoying music with his own quartett, Richard Koch has played with artists like Nils Frahm (“All Melody”), Jimi Tenor, Hermeto Pascoal, Peter Fox and the Beatsteaks. His wide musical range includes jazz, performance art, and rock music. His debut album WALD was released in 2018, followed by the second album STADT in 2020. The band has played numerous concerts all over Europe, presenting their unique style. Their new album FLUSS will be released in November 2022.
