The ACF Washington was delighted to host Levine Music's exceptionally dedicated Honors Program students as they performd a recital filled with chamber music. After the last joint project a workshop given by Austrian pianist Mitra Kotte, the concert was a further manifestation of the long-standing partnership of the ACF Washington and Levine Music.
Each year Levine’s Honors students (ages 8-18) are selected through an application, audition, and interview process to represent Levine as the school's "Musical Ambassadors". Throughout the year, Honors students perform together throughout the D.C. area, participate in workshops and masterclasses, attend theory classes and concerts, and rehearse in chamber ensembles. This recital showcased their hard work from the 2018-2019 school year and concluded with a dessert reception.
